INDEPENDENT SOCIAL WORK
Dr Blundell is a registered Social Worker (HCPC), and member of the British Association of Social Workers (MBASW).
Dr Blundell has experience of :
-child protection work, as an investigating and assessing social worker, including chairing strategy meetings, multiagency risk assessment meetings and supervising social workers undertaking child protection work;
-preparing a wide range of assessments and reports for presentation to court;
-providing evidence in care and related proceedings to the family court
-scrutiny of Form F assessment;
-managing social workers
-working with children with disabilities including: complex and profound physical disabilities; ASD; and severe learning difficulties
-assessing and working with parents with learning difficulties
-Mental Capacity Assessments
-Gillick Competency Assessments
-Deprivation of Liberty Declaration assessments and court applications for under 16 year olds

Dr Blundell has experience of working with disabled children and their families. Including parenting assessments, carers assessments and single assessments.
Dr Blundell has experience of undertaking Parenting Assessments. Dr Blundell is also trained to undertake parenting assessment using PAM's software.
Form F, SGO and Connected Person Assessments.
Dr Blundell has experience of completing fostering, SGO and connected person assessments.
